なんてものを手に入れてみました。
これは、名前のとおりの機能を提供する製品です。
利用するには、専用の slot を装備したサーバ、E250, 280R, V480, V490, V880, V890 が必要になります。
Sun Fire 280R は、Blade 1000 の M/B と共通なので、当然、Blade 1000 にも 、この slot があります。なので、これを、Sun Blade 1000 に装着！
あふw、Sun Fire 280R になってしまいました orz
本当なら、RSC から電源制御ボードと FC backplane への I2C 接続があるのですが、Blade 1000 にはそんなものはなく・・・
FAN 制御も RSC 経由になってしまうようで、フル回転です。
でも、電源げ落ちていても、通電した状態であれば、RSC の Ethernet port 経由で console が取れるのはうれすぃ。
はたして、FAN は制御できるのでしょうか・・・
つか、RSC の Windows client から、Power Off/On ができまつよ・・・
